1. Hold saw firmly with the saw chain free to turn without making contact with any obiect.

2. Push saw away fmm you with your right hand while pulling the starter rape with your*1eft hand.

3. Use less than the hiif extent of the starter n^e per puli.

4. Pull rope no more than 5^ times.

5. Reléase the trigger after engine starts afiowing engine to idle.
